A simple, fast way to heat a bucket of water through winter. The 2000W stainless steel element warms a standard bucket in minutes — no geyser, no gas, no waiting for a tank. Useful for bathing, washing and kitchen use when the geyser is off or the gas pressure drops.
Why you'll like it
- Heats fast — 2000W brings a standard bucket up to temperature in minutes.
- Stainless steel element — resists rust and corrosion through repeated use.
- No installation — drop it in the bucket, plug it in, unplug when done.
- Works when the gas doesn't — useful during low gas pressure, which is when you need hot water most.
- Portable — carry it between bathroom and kitchen, or take it along when travelling.
- Low cost — a fraction of what a geyser costs to buy or run.
Important safety instructions — please read
Never touch the water or the bucket while the rod is plugged in. Always switch off at the socket and unplug before putting your hand in the water, moving the bucket, or removing the rod. This is the single most important rule with any immersion heater.
- Make sure the element is fully submerged before switching on. Running it in air will burn out the element and can cause a fire.
- Use a plastic bucket, not a metal one.
- Never leave it running unattended, and never leave children near a bucket with the rod in it.
- Use a properly earthed socket. If your socket has no earth, do not use this product.
- Do not use the rod if the cable, plug or element shows any damage.
- At 2000W this draws roughly 9 A — use a socket and wiring rated for it, not a light-duty extension lead.
